There was no one out when I was there and it was like I had my own private resort. POOL: The hotel has a small but beautiful terrace pool/spa area. We were very comfortable and had a very peaceful night sleep. We decided to forgo the computer, but there was a cable in the drawers for connection. For some reason there is only Wi-Fi in the suites, dial up (?) in the standard rooms. No problem with hot water as I have read in other reviews. The bathroom, so cavernous it echoed, was divided into two rooms: the first had a medium sized tub (we would have tried it if we had stayed longer) and the sink with a long counter and great mirrors and lighting for makeup application the second had the toilet and a rather large shower. View was beautiful, desert hills and peaks that change color as the sun goes down. Lighting was easy to control and dim enough to create a nice mood. Two comfortable queen-size beds, fluffy pillows (little too full for my taste), across from a large wall-mounted flat screen equally viewable from both beds (our biggest problem was that the remote had an extremely slow response time and it made it a pain to get to the channel you wanted, on the plus side it had several music channels: country, jazz, rock, etc.).
Room was very nice, modern flair, spacious. We were allowed to check in early, at noon, and were given a really nice room on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. Hubby and I went as a “getaway”, just one night.
